Brittany Hicks is a public relations major, with a RPTM minor, from Pittsburgh, PA. In her free time she likes to write music, sing, and play guitar and piano, as well as hang out with friends.  Her interest was sparked in doing a special event with golf because she always has enjoyed going to the driving range with her step-dad and her friends. She wanted to learn more about golf, and it was an event that was different from her typical events that she has run through Penn State Dance Marathon.

 

  

 

Jessica Haug is from Jamison, PA and she is a Recreation, Park, and Tourism (RPTM) major with a community and commercial recreation option. In her free time she likes to be outside, exercise, and be around family and friends, and travel. She also plays varsity softball here at Penn State. She was interested in working with the Penn State Golf Courses because she wants to learn more about the game of golf. The event in particular sparked her interest because she likes working with kids and being involved with sports in any way. 

 

 

 

Shawn Stefanski is a RPTM major with a commercial and community option from Wilkes Barre, PA. He likes to spend his free time relaxing with friends and family, watching sports, playing video games, and taking spontaneous adventures. He was interested in working with the Penn State Golf Courses because he was has been interested in golf since a young age and thought this would be a great opportunity to learn more about the game and have a enjoyable experience. 

 

 

 

Thomas “Zoli” Molnar is a Junior from Arlington, Virginia and in the PGA PGM program in RPTM at Penn State.  He loves to golf, play basketball, and hang with his friends in his free time.  Zoli loves to golf and wanted to get into a career with the golf industry.  One of the roles he feels comfortable with being in a group is the communicator.  

 

 

 

Kimberly Kasper is a senior majoring in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management (RPTM) with the focus in Commercial Recreation and Public Relations (PR). She is from Gettysburg, Pa. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her puppy, Teddy. She chose this event because she found it an interesting opportunity to work with a golf course. 

 

 

 

Blake Miller is a Professional Golf Management student and is from Cranberry Township, PA. In his free time here at school, he likes to mainly hang out with his friends. He also enjoys playing golf, skiing, and playing guitar. His interest in the Penn State GC comes from his love for the game of golf and his desire to work in the golf industry. 

 

 

 

Josh Smith is an RPTM student at Penn State University with a focus on commercial recreation.  He was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, the city of champions.  In his free time Josh likes to play tennis and to workout.  He also dabbles in DJ’ing and is a big electronic and house music fan.  When he found out that there was the option to work with Joe Hughes again and be involved in a golf oriented event Josh was very interested.  He plays golf on occasion, although he is not very good.  He also has worked with Mr. Hughes before and found him to be a very nice, personable and easy person to work for. 

 

 

 

Ania Kusnierz is a Recreation Parks and Tourism Management (RPTM) major with a focus on commercial recreation and is from Reading, PA. In her free time and when there is nice weather she likes to spend time hiking and enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys playing sports, especially volleyball.  She also has a passion for traveling and hopes to have a career in the tourism industry. She is interested in the event with the golf courses because it includes her love for sports but is also something new. She is very excited to work with the group as a Peer Mentor for the semester.
